I agree- you just become aware of where they are and they're aware of you. Sophie is 16 months, 2 lbs, 4 oz. and sleeps with me. When I first got her, I was terrified that I would squish her, so I had her sleeping in her crate, but my brother convinced me that she would really be okay sleeping with me. Now she curls up in the crook of my arm and I cover her up. Like Darlene, I make sure she has access to her potty pad at night. I have a bench at the foot of my bed that she can use to climb down and up. (Before I put that there I had no luck stopping her from JUMPING of the bed!

) Now she snuggles right in to sleep when the lights go out, but when I wake up sometimes she's gone on potty pad during the night. Mostly she sleeps through the night now.
