No it isn't hard to comb now I have the best comb - the grooming comb from Toplinepet.com.
He does get mats. But I comb him through every morning, and again in the evening making sure I get all through the coat to remove any tangles.
And sometimes I have to comb him again during the day when he comes in after he has been "gardening" LOL - he gets those sticker things in that if I don't get them out right away they will create mats.
