At one time, she had a Westie on a raw food diet because the breeder requested that she keep the dog on the same diet she had the dog on before she purchased it. Well, that dog came down with a disease that our vet and never seen and died. Now my mom has taken the safe route and makes organic meals for Mimi, our yorkie. No need to use organic - That's just my mom!!

Breakfast
- 2 Tbs. of cooked organic oatmeal with ground flaxseed and cinnamon.
- diced up poached organic chicken (She cooks a few breasts of organic chicken each week and cuts portions from that for each meal) or 1 Hardboiled Organic Egg
- 1 Tbs. of organic goats milk yogart - plain
- a few slices of banana
- blueberries and raspberries
- a sprinkle of Organic shredded cheese
- Mash together with fork and serve

Lunch/Dinner
- 2 Tbs. of Organic mashed potatoes with a bit of garlic to keep fleas away or organic brown rice cooked in the chicken broth.
- diced up poached organic chicken or Alaskan salmon
- 1 to 2 Tbs. of organic apple sauce
- 1 to 2 Tbs. of organic Yam or pumpkin cooked and mashed
- organic carrots diced into small pieces
- a few pieces of organic spring mix salad - greens
- a splash of raw apple cider vinegar to keep intestinal track clean of parasites
- parsley, thyme, and rosemary
- 1 tsp. of organic extra virgin olive oil
- Sprinkle a bit of organic shredded cheese
- mash together with fork and serve

Mimi loves her meals. My mom is currently researching organic supplements for Mimi. She worries that she may be missing some important nutrients. Any ideas on a good organic supplement? Thanks so much!
Roxie

Incredible! And my friends and family think I am a fanatic. Those recipes are more complex than what I cook for my family!!! I would like to know the benefit of parsley, thyme and rosemary because I could add those to Pico's recipes. I cook and freeze portions and then thaw. Check out www.b-naturals.com. I think they have organic supplements.
