When treating for fleas, your whole house, including all bedding for people and pets, furniture, etc, should be treated, along with your yard, and the pup, at the same time...Please be careful with the chemicals, you use, so as not to get the pup in a toxic environment...Fleas will still get on your pup, even w/topicals, but will die within 24 hrs., I believe...I don't use topicals, as I treat my yard and home, and don't have to treat pups, other than their weekly baths...
