OMG! That is EXACTLY what happened to me!!!! It was Easter weekend and Friday night. The night before.... I was doing laundry to get it out of the way. My hubby wasn't home as he was already at the lake holding a spot for us. Well around 8 pm my daughter comes upstairs and says...."mommy there's water on the floor" well I'm packing getting stuff ready upstairs. I tell her go clean it up! She says ok. Then about an hour later she comes back and says "I can't there's too much" then I'm thinking man these kids got the icemaker stuffed with ice and it's melting from the hatch al over the floor. And how much water could it be that she can't clean. Right?!!! Well low n' behold I come downstairs and I've got water all the way to the doorway of my formal dinning! My pantry is adjacent to my kitchen/ breakfast nook. It's in an L shape and water was coming from the pantry all through the kitchen! It was a friggin' river! I could hear the washer still filling! I was sloshing through the water to the pantry and shut it off! Then took every towel in the house to sop it up! Then I stayed up to play with the washer so I could wash all the towels so my house wouldn't smell of mildew and still go camping at the lake! Then when we went home on Monday we started our search for the perfect washer!
