First, get a harness that fits. Second, when you put the harness on walk her. She'll soon forget about it. Third, when you are not walking her take it off. Ruger has now eaten one harness and one rather expensive Gentle Leader harness.

He did have a very small harness that fit perfectly and he would wear it all day and night. Unfortunately he outgrew it and I have not been able to find a replacement.

He does wear a collar and ID 24/7.
