I thought of this thread yesterday when my Dyson fell on my HEAD!!! I was vacuuming the stairs and stupid me had the base of the unit in front of me - well I pulled the hose a little to far and bang.

one of the reasons I've never exercised was a deep and abiding fear of sports injuries. You don't get shin splints in your recliner. But, omg, I never, ever thought seriously about cleaning injuries. You poor woman. There needs to be medical research on this. I'm sure there is a foundation and grants available. I'm just devastated.
