Every dog is different. When I got Baxter he had been neutered at close to a year of age. So marking and humping were becoming a part of his behavior. He has never marked inside the house and while he does once in awhile hump his favorite blue elmo bed, spayed girls will also do that. Once in a great while he will also hump Bear's head but that is strictly a domination thing, not a sexual thing. Do bear in mind that it takes awhile for the hormones to get out of their systems after the procedure, but in Baxter's case there was zero marking inside after surgery.
