In Natural Balance's defense, I want to be loyal to the company because thus far, it has been the only food that has eliminated Khloe's tear stains. Fillers in dog food is the #1 culprit for tear stains (or at least that is what I was told, and it must be true because it helped Khloe, even with her teething).

I believe it was a few states. Check the recall on NB's site and, this was back several weeks ago, first post was 6/18, so most/all of the bags with the specific date and locations should have been taken back by now. I do not know if any pet food company has an "up to the minute" recall site. Alas, most are reluctant to announce a recall until directed to by USDA/FDA or whoever does the pushing from the Fed ranks. All we can do is try to keep alert and invest any rumor(s).
