Personally, I am a believer in letting them work it out as long as there is no blood drawn. Even though you might feel bad about it, Mia might be the more dominant dog and if you constantly interfere with them, you might make things worse. (Not saying that you are interfering) Of course, I should probably say that I am not a professional.... But you do need to make sure that Mia and Woody see you as the most dominant.
