I think your vet will be able to answer these for you. And they will give you their advice on other things I am sure. I can answer some of these from my personal experience. Yes, I think you should keep Nutrical on hand. You never know when you will need it. I don't know really how to describe it to you except you will know when they need it. I would recommend teeth cleaning. We brush Rosie's teeth. She don't like it but . . . I also live in a rural area. I am surrounded by woods too. We fight ticks like crazy. I treat Rosie but I also treat my yard. For Rosie, I use Advantix and I also use Sentinel for flea population control as well as heartworm medication. Advantix is used for ticks; however, it controls fleas too. I am sure your vet will have certain ones that he or she recommends. This just works for Rosie. I would ask about the heartworm meds, I didn't see it on your list. Have you used this vet before? If not, I would also ask about how he/she handles emergencies after hours. I know some vets have you come to them while others will send you to the emergency pet hospital.
