I will not get into if a tail 'should' be docked or not...there are alot of people on the board that view it as cruel and unnecessary...I don't want to get that debate started again, so I will just say this: To the best of my knowledge, most breeders take the responsibility of having the tails/claws done when the pups are only a few days old. You will have to decide for yourself if you want a tail or not and if you want it to already be docked when you get the pup. I would be wary of the fact that she gives the shots herself. Ask if you can call her vet or if you can have copies of the vet records for the pups. I have both available for our prespective owners before they have a chance to ask.
