Well truth be told...the 4th cat was supposed to be a foster cat. My son came home (he is a few miles away and lives on campus at school) and said his friends were taking care of a cat with kittens and their landlord said when the kittens are old enough they need to be given away to good homes, and the momma cat needs to leave. Sooo he said Please, take her temporarily, I said NO, he said Please, please,please, and I said ohhhh o.k. Got her spayed and my daughter fell in love with her she is a black long hair is mellow as can be. So she is very content in my daughters room and she is very happy. My husband wasn't, but got used to her and thinks she is a very sweet cat as long as she stays in her room!! I also got the riot act read to me about working at the shelter, but there were so many people that wanted to adopt, and the shelter really looks at the well being of the animals and screens potential owners, that i wasn't so tempted to adopt any.
Anyway can never turn my back on an animal that is thrown away like trash.
I think all of the people on this forum are in the samd mindset...
