You know how those little tiny pieces always seem to wind up right against the baseboards? My old Hoover would NOT pick that stuff up. This Dyson schlurped it all right in....it was sucking up things before I even got the vacuum completely over the spot. 
I did two small rooms last night (saving the rest of the fun for today  ), and I think it took me about the same amount of time as it usually does. BUT, I was working it like a regular vacuum. I think once I get the hang of using that ball I'll be able to zip through much faster.
Oh, and the kiddos were too busy playing to even notice mom got a new vacuum.
