I am always thankful for any advice givin on any subject but as with all dogs they are all different maggie and Oscar are very close and if I try to put them in different rooms they lie at the doors and bark and cry to get back to each other maggie is protective of her puppies but she is also very protective of Oscar for whatever reason I don't know! It's just the way they are I find with her she gets far more stressed out if you take Oscar away from her, when o did that at the beginning she would not eat when I brought him back she was so excited she stuffed herself so I think in my case it is better for her and the health of her pups that I leave them to it, if I thought for any reason maggie would do better any other way I would, they are lovely dogs and I love them very much and would do nothing to hurt or stress them in any way, thankyou for your advice
