I have used Adams Flea spray before on beds that can't be washed and on carpeted areas when we still had carpet. I liked it because it killed all stages of the flea for up to 3 months. I made sure the dogs were not in the house when I sprayed it though, just so they wouldn't have to breath the fumes.

I wouldn't use a any flea collar. You could bath your yorkie with Dawn dish washing detergent to kill any fleas......then Monday get to a vet or somewhere to buy other flea meds.
