This is so funny, because when Bruce got Lil Bit he got her for me. But she has always been his baby! I am always second best to Bruce.
When I got Beamer, Bruce said he would try and keep his distance from him so that Beamer would bond with me. Well, I think it was because Beamer was taking a cue from Lil Bit, that he spent more time by Bruce's side than mine. I was good for getting food and treats from - after all I was the one who melted cheese on his food so he would eat it, and I was the one giving him treats, but Bruce was his favourite human. Now he is definitely my baby, but it took time.
For some reason Bruce is the one all dogs will go to. Even when we visit a friend who has a couple of furbabies as soon as we sit down her dogs want on Bruce's lap!
