Suzanne,

I've had great success using a bell tied to the doorknob as a way for dogs to let you know they need to go out. Since it rings automatically every time you open the door, it doesn't take long for them to get the connection that bell ringing = door opening.

If your arms are sore from the biting and she continues to jump on you, I'd have to say that simply saying "no bite" isn't working too good for ya. Here's what I'd do:
