Thank you! Me too! It's been a lot of chronic stuff for too long and my vet felt he was a difficult case. He had two full days of diagnostics at UT this week and they even were a bit confused at his symptoms...that a lot of them didn't really fit together. He did not have a shunt, but they are thinking it may be possibly Addision's disease along with some liver disease or GI things going on.
Thankfully though, Snicker's is working with Dr. Claudia Kirk and I am absolutely thrilled to have her as his specialist. She is the department head of internal medicine and nutrition and is known for her work in nutrition. She said that after we got the results back, she would work with me on formulating a nutrition plan for him. It's such a relief to feel he is in good hands.
