Everyone is mentioning that 8 weeks is too young, but I'm wondering why that is. My previous dogs have been large breed pups that I brought home at 8 weeks, and my current yorkie girl was purchased at 13 wks because she happened to be the last one left (guess I got lucky). Why is 8 weeks too young? |
large breed dogs are way different then small breed.
Small breeds especially yorkies benefit from being with their moms til 12 weeks. Theres lots of info on YT about why you shouldn't bring your baby home before 12 weeks.
