My sister's big dogs got skunked earlier this year and she originally thought only her female got it, so she let her male in the house. After several hours, she realized her house stunk and that her other dog had been skunked as well and now all the fabrics were completely covered in the smell as well... She had to wash everything and it stunk in her house forever! I guess you eventually get used to it
