I use these creams myself. When I started using them, it was recommended to wash hands after applying them and apply about an hour before bed. That way the skin will have soaked it in and little chance of the cream transferring to my husband. So I can see how it would with a pup. I will have to keep an eye on her. She has a tendency to lick my skin.
