This--or an emergency spay after the "accident"--are things that you should have considered on June 24, not just now when she is so close to her whelp! Yes, the behavior you have described seems very typical for a pregnant female close to delivering. Have you not had her examined by a vet yet to determine if she is in fact expecting and since you knew there was a possibility that she was? If not, you need to do that ASAP. They will need to take an xray to determine the size of the pups she is carrying--it will tell the size and give the vet an idea as to if she may need a c-section or if they look like she can free whelp them.
In any event, she WILL need your assistance if and when she delivers the litter. As you have left yourself little time to prepare and research the how-to's, your best option is going to be to see if your vet would be willing to assist your, or to find an experienced breeding mentor who would be willing to help you out. |
