Mine bit hers at first and hated getting it put on but eventually after getting it put on each time and going outside, she realized that getting it put on meant going outside which is rewarding for her I guess lol. She use to bite it all the time but I just let her bite, eventually she got tired of twisting her head down to bite and if I did catch her biting, I would clap really loudly to get her attention and just give her a firm NO. Its something new on their body that they don't feel use to yet.

Maybe each time you put it on, you can take her outside so that she can associate it with going on walks and playing outside. If Alice enjoys going outside, she'll eventually catch on and realize that wearing the harness means she can go outside and eventually the harness will become second nature for her. I couldn't get mine to walk the first time I put a leash on her so I just put the leash on her inside the house and let her drag it around while she was wearing the harness and would coax her to follow me around the house since she would stand still as a statue once I put a leash and harness on her to get her use to the feeling. She does great on the leash and wears her harness all day sometimes and sleeps in it without a problem.

Also, there is someone on the forums named chattiesmom that makes really soft custom harnesses from silk that are gentle on the fur and in my opinion more comfortable than the harness that you can buy at petsmart or petco. It's a step-in harness so its shaped like a bra and their two little legs go thru and you snap it close, its quick and easy! Good luck and hope I helped!
