Sadly this is one of the down sides of taking a pup away from its mum too early. Her mum would have been teaching her manners, including keeping the biting under control. I know you cant do anything about that now though.
Is there anyone else you could leave Poppy with? Someone who doesnt have children.
It would be so sad if Poppy bit one of the children in the face, which could so easily happen.
If it was me, i would be looking for someone who takes dogs into their home while you go on holiday.
Dont know where you are in England, but 'pets and people' are meant to be very good. I think if you google it you should be able to find details.
