My Bailey is almost 16 months and his hair is only now getting long, when he was a pup he had very little facial hair, not at all like most of the fluffy faced yorkie pups I kept seeing, it was even suggested to me that he might be a Chorkie!
He is pure yorkie however, and his hair is just slow growing, but he has a pretty coat, although it is quite fragile. I'm sure if you take time and care with Maya's coat, it will be beautiful.
