Eat, sleep, hygiene, and take a nap when you feel the need.
Make sure you have all the supplies you will need, food, harness, crate, beds, yes, beds, water and food bowl, leash, pick-up bags, food, and an appointment with the vet. Lots of old hands here that can fill you in. I rely on my wife to handle most everything dog related. Best of luck, and post a picture when you can.
