Thanks, yorkiechick1. I have been balking at getting a dog for quite awhile because most barking bothers me. I was surprised Max's bark is so sharp! His doggie family does not have shrill barks, which is one of the reasons why I bought him.
I talked to a trainer this week, and we will definitely be working on the bark thing. Max comes home with me tomorrow. :-)
