She has since contributed money to his medical bills, has been involved with the doctors at LSU regarding the rest of the litter and has been in communication with me daily and has shown compassion.

I'm sure that Max comes from solid genes. I never once said that I thought it was a hereditary issue or that it's the breeder's fault. For anyone who's attacking the breeder, she has stepped up to assist me. I DO NOT want to discuss the breeder any longer.

In my opinion...a genetic condition is not how I measure a reputable breeder it's how they handle the situation afterward.
