Vet says Maggie definitely has kennel cough (the blanket term). She still believes the coughing last week has to be explained by something else. Snickers has been home for 6 days and this is when Maggie would come down with it. So she is having me finish the Augmentin and start doxycycline for 10 days. Even though Maggie is 10 she feels she will get over this just fine. I also had the Senior blood panel done on Maggie while we were there. She has dropped from 5.8 lbs to 5 lbs since last October.
Thanks for everybody's help. I guess I just have to wait it out until everybody gets rid of this virus and pray nobody has a secondary bacterial infection.
