Sentinel and Interceptor both have the same ingredient, milbemycin oxime. If your Yorkie had no problems with Interceptor, there shouldn't be a problem with Sentinel. Personally, I don't like combination products. I prefer to space out heartworm preventative and flea medication by two weeks. I use Interceptor and Advantage.
FYI, milbemycin oxime is considered safer that ivermectin (Heartguard) as studies have linked seizures to ivermection in some dogs. |
