Have you called the breeder of the pup? Did you receive a good guarantee with your puppy? I'd say it sounds like you have two possibly serious problems to deal with. First I'd get a stool sample into the vet as there's a good chance the pup has parasites. You sometimes have to do more than one check to detect giardia or coccidiosis and they are both very common in puppies. The limping may be cause by luxating patella or loose knee caps. If a pup is limping at 9 weeks because of knees the patellas must be very loose. Did you take the pup in for a well puppy check up when you got her? Depending on the causes of these problems you may want to return the puppy if you can get a full refund. Otherwise you may be in for high vet bills down the road. |
