FYI, you should hold your pup tucked under your arm with the feet facing out (think of holding a football). That way he has nothing to push off with if he gets squirmy. This may help prevent something like this from happening again.

Thank you and everyone else who has answered! Yes, I'll start carrying him as you say. He's asleep by my side right now so I'm just waiting for a few minutes before I attempt to call the vet. I'm very scared on how my mom will react by me doing that.
