There are many strains of kennel cough. Also, there are other upper respiratory conditions that are not kennel cough.
No idea why symptoms would increase suddenly after improving. Best left for your vet to answer.
Sometimes it takes time for these things to clear up. Maybe a different antibiotic should be given....I would probably ask the vet if he/she thinks a culture and sensitivity might be in order. |
