My older yorkie, Vinnie, was neutered around the age of 2 when I adopted him from the local pound. He did initially have a sagging piece of skin where his testicles used to be, but over time the skin shrank. Today, it is unnoticeable. I think it took about 6 months or so to shrink completely back up.
