Default diarrhea; runny stool

Okay, I may be over reacting again, which I seem to be doing frequently since losing my husband 3 months ago. My 10 year old yorkie has had two rounds of diarrhea with a little "mucus" today. Both times he was outside, so he has not had any accidents. He is eatting, drinking water and playing. What do you think? Do I need to be concerned at this point? Anything I can do for him? Should I wait and see how he is tomorrow before rushing him to the vet?
Thanks!
