Since we live so close, I'll tell ya I don't get Jackson Lepto or Lymes.
Lepto he had a terrible reaction too. He was lethargic, couldn't barely walk, was trembling, etc. Never again, and it's on all of his vet papers NOT to give it to him.
Vet recommended against the Lymes vaccine for Jackson, even after he HAD lymes disease, she said it doesn't cover all 'versions' of it. And Lymes is such an easy thing to treat if caught early. 30 days of antibiotics and he was cleared up.
I'm not planning on getting Jackson anymore vaccines currently... He will be 2yrs old in October and had these: DHPP at 8 weeks, DHLPP at 12 weeks (when he had reaction), DHPP at 15 weeks, Rabies at like 6 months old. Then DHPP booster at 1 yr old, and then a few weeks later rabies booster. Oh, he also had bordatella just because we're around sooo many dogs, etc.
I think I'm going to plan on following Dr. Jean Dodds vaccine protocol but I'm not 100% sure. My vet said he's good on DHPP and rabies for the next 3 yrs. I guess I'll decide in 3yrs if he gets more DHPP
