I will observe the ends of her nails, and try to look for a line or a difference in the finish of the tips, and while she is asleep I will [ever so slowly] clip them. You are so blessed to live up north and to have an active Yorkie. Khloe is a little active, but she isn't too much into the walks yet. That is great advice about the pavements as well. Now that you mentioned it, I remember my vet mentioning that with my Westie that I had. It seemed to help, and he loved his walks. Many thanks for your advice, and if you have any other dummy-proof tips for a first time Yorkie owner and have time to share, or products that you would recommend, please do. You seem well informed, and by the looks of your precious Yorkie, you have your stuff together. Your furbaby is adorable, btw! |
Awwww, thank you so much for the compliments! She's my little sweetie, that's for sure!

Your Khloe has such a sweet little face!
Bella is my 1st furbaby too....you just pick it up as you go. Thank goodness people have been sweet enough to give me tips...otherwise I'd be lost!

I don't have children (yet!) so Bella is my baby. Therefore, I worry and spend time asking/researching to do the best I can for her. There are so many wonderful, knowledgeable people her on YT that will help whatever the issue, but feel free to PM me anytime you have a question or want a recommendation. If I can't help you, I may be able to direct you to someone who can!
Oh, P.S. I was also told by a groomer that I ought to be clipping her nails about every 3 wks. I used to write it down in my calendar so I'd remember, but now I just notice that they seem like they're getting a bit long and I know I didn't do it the week before, so I figure it's time and just do it.
