It's a steam sanitizer. No need for a thing except distilled water. It kills germs and even dust mites. Use it on wood or ceramic floors. There is an attachment for the bottom to allow sanitizing carpets, furniture and even counter tops. But to do the furniture and counter top, you need a shorter wand which is sold separately. I've been having such a great time with my Dyson and Haan.
