I agree with Britster that it was rude to say an undocked tail looks 'odd'. How would you feel if I said your baby looked odd?
A person might choose to leave the tail because they feel it is cruel to dock an animals tail without a purpose.
I have one with a docked tail and one without. My female's tail was not docked because she was tiny at birth (3 oz) and her owner preferred that she survive and therefore did not put her through the stress of having her tail docked.
