The cost is usually based on the pups size and pedigree. If you purchase from a breeder who is mostly selling pups that come from show dogs you will pay more. If they have champs in their line you will pay more. There are some pups out there that run pretty cheap, under $600. If you see those ask lots of questions and make sure the owner has done what is needed for that pup. Basically put a reasinable price to pay for a pet Yorkie that your just wanting love and play with you will pay $600-$1000. The smaller they are the more you pay, the better pedigree the more you pay. You can purchase a pet quality pup that has a good pedigree and that is why they are priced higher. It is not cheap to raise a healthy litter, so beware when you see them selling for cheap. There are some good breeders in Kentucky. Good Luck.
