Lightbulb Potty Pad

I'm not sure about litter training since my Mocha would probably eat it too. Like your puppy. My puppy came with a playpen from the breeder (not an expensive dog one, but one for human baby that she bought from yard sale for $15). I was told to split the playpen in half, put his bed in half and the potty pad in the other. My Mocha learned to go on the potty pad the same day. He does not want to get his bed dirty. This should solve your problem in the mean time.

When Mocha got a little older I started taking him out every hour and stretch longer and longer. Each time he potty outside I praise him and give him a treat. I also bought one of those potty training bells so he can "ring the bell" when he wants to go potty. He is now 9 months old and doing great!

Maybe you should just try training one step at a time like me. 14 weeks is very young so have patience. Don't expect too much at the beginning.

Hope this helps and good luck!
