I am so glad h e is home and feeling better. My Cali had that last year. It does come on so quickly, with bloody diahrea and vomiting. he started to have another episode a month or so later, I could tell by the look in her eyes she was sick again. I took her in and when the vet pulled out the thermometer it had blood on it. She said we caught it right in time. She was given meds and fluids and recovered pretty quickly the 2nd time. I suspected that the hooves I was giving them was making her sick, so I stopped giving them hooves. Then a couple of weeks ago, as a treat for Pixie's freedom from LP confinement, I bought them all hooves. Sure enough 2 days later Cali had diahrea, so no more hooves for them. |
