I sure wish I could find something for separation anxiety. Toby really has it bad when we go camping and leave he and Speedy in the camper while we are out on the ATV's. He goes absolutely crazy while I'm gone. Even if my husband stays in the camper with him while I'm gone, he will jump on the table and look out the window to see if he can find me and then he'll jump on the back of the couch and look out that window and this goes on the entire time I'm gone. He simply will not settle down. What I don't understand is when I'm at work five days a week, he is his normal self all day long with my husband.
I've tried calming treats (he wants NOTHING to do with them) and Rescue Remedy didn't work. I've even tried wrapping the calming treats in a Greenie pill pocket and the little stinker would eat the pill pocket off the treat and leave it.
Any suggestions?
