I limited her play time to 10mins and left her alone to go back to sleep which she did do and is now sleeping in her bed. I whiped her bottom with a warm wetwipe when she woke up and she did a wee a few mins later but still no poop. Maybe that will come in the next few hours.
Another miracle is that the lactol puppy milk formula, i was finding it hard mixing it up not knowing how much i need to give to how much water. Well my bf worked it all out for me and it looks alot better than what i was making it so thats fantastic.
I think i am getting ontop of this mother melarky hehe!! |
As I said an an earlier post....it takes time for them to acclimate to a new environment. She is now getting use to you and trusting to you.
Just continue to massage her little anus. Here's something you might think about. Some pups will poop and yes, eat it. It's something they learn from their mothers.....it's keeping the den clean. So she may have gone poo poo and cleaned it up already. Keep a check on her tummy, make sure it isn't hard. If she appears to be bit constipated a small of warm water (not even a 1/4 cc) in a syringe into her little anus will help. I prefer pure glycerine.....but, water will do in a pinch.
