Sorry to hear your pup is off to a rough start. You did the best thing by immediately going to the vet, so continue to follow up with vet's advice and call them on the phone until things get normal.

What was the vet's diagnosis, and what is the name of the medication they have given.

There are many possible reasons for the pups distress, ranging from minor things like changes in food, water and environment, to more serious illnesses which only a vet can diagnose. The breeder may be of some help, and the Yorkie Talk members can only guess, but the vet is the only one to give you answers.

Good luck with your new pup, and I hope things turn around quickly and that you have many many happy healthy years together. Also, welcome to Yorkie Talk. I have a Yorkie, 3 Morkies, and a Schnauzer.
