The goat milk formula is recommended by some breeders to use instead of store bought formula's. Some of the store bought formula can cause eye problems for the puppies later on.
What antibiotic did the vet put your momma on? Some antibiotics will effect their appetite and also cause them stomach problems. The momma should be given a probiotic supplement like Bene-bac since she is on antibiotics. You really need to try everything possible to get the momma do eat some solid dog food. Just giving her the puppy formula could cause her to get diarrhea again. What dog food was she on prior to having puppies?
