You've received great advice so far. My Lulu weighed just over 1 lb at 8 weeks. She didn't come home with us until she was almost 14 weeks old & right at 2 lbs. I am so glad she stayed the extra time with her furmommy & littermates. She adjusted so easily when she did get to come home & we've had no hypoglycemia episodes at all.
It really is best if your baby can stay with her furmommy until 12 weeks & 2 lbs...it will make your life eaiser when she does come home. And it really is best for the puppy as well.
