I phoned my local vets and explained everything and she said to make sure she is having a syringe of water every hour and 2 syringes of milk every 2hours. I just gave her 2 waters and 2 milk syringers as she has hardly drank anything today. I feel alot better now she has something inside her. Altho when she said bring her down so i can check her out and she told me i would have to pay £100 today... i just have not got that amount of money with paying out £500 for Poppy yesterday and then buying everything i need for her this week which came to over £300. My OH gets paied every week so i told her i wouldnt be able to pay that amount out untill friday an she told me they cant see her without immediate payment, i burst out crying on the phone and she told me to phone the PDSA down Newcastle 40 minutes from me. As me and my OH are both in full time work there is no way they would even consider us. I am mad and upset that my baby needs medical care and no vet will even look at her because i cant pay untill friday!!! How stupid!!! Well she has her fluids in her now so i am happy about that, Ugh so upset and angry right now. |
Ok you have an appt booked for 2morrow right? today might be with your vet a premium day, ie an emergency day. So 2morrow might be cheaper
It's funny I was going to post to see if your breeder called you to see how you are doing.
You and hubby are both working full time? What happens Wed when you go back to work? Will someone be able to be with her during the day when you are away?
If you look back on your thread Beamers Mom posted what the law is in England and he is in contravention of this law by releasing a puppy too early.
In terms of food remember what Mardelin suggested, a bit of grated Parmesan cheese might help that appetite.
I'm sorry I don't know what your options for vet care are in England Maybe Beamers MOm who lived there will know.
I know you don't want to hear this right now, you've already bonded with your poppy, but maybe sending her back to the breeders, and having them keep your poppy until older (12wks or so) is the best solution at this time.
