Your pup is very tiny and has just begun eating pretty well on it's own, but it is a crucial time. Your pup would be receiving it's first innoculation between 8 and 9 weeks. If nothing else, maybe taking the mom and the pups in for you to care for would be the best option. At this age my pups are periodically still nursing on their mothers.
A good breeder never lets their pups go until a minimum of 12 weeks and weighing two pounds. The pups should have a minimum of 2 innoculations. |
